Description:

- CRRT PRISMAX (REQUIRED)

- EVD DRAINS (REQUIRED)

- IMPELLA (PREFERRED)

- IABP (PREFERRED)

Required:

- VA or compact license

- ACLS

- NIH

- 2 yrs experience

*The SICU's population is more specialized, with trauma patients, CV surgery patients (such as TAVRs and CABGs directly from the OR), neurosurgery patients, and other complicated surgical patients.*

Special Requirements/Skills:

Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, blood product administration; Diagnoses include: acute ventilator need, COVID+ with high O2 demand, DKA, severe sepsis, unstable GI bleed, trauma cases, open heart recovery, TAVR recovery, s/p code blue, multi system organ failure, need for CRRT.

Ratios: 1:2-3 (Ratios will be appropriate to skill level and acuity during required float)
